The story goes that when Antony Beck first visited the property that would become Angela EstateVineyard, it was your typical cloudy, drizzly Oregon Winter day. The majestic Coast Range Mountains tothe West were obscured by clouds and even neighboring vineyards were hidden from view. But,stepping out of his car, he breathed in the fresh Oregon rain, took in the vibrant green of our wintersand walked in the Marine sedimentary soil of Yamhill-Carlton that lay under foot. He knew this was theplace for his Pinot Noir. Angela Estate was planted as one-part tribute to Angela, his wife of 27 years,one-part celebration of family and one-part testament to a legacy in winegrowing that endures.
