Abeja, named for the industrious bee, is a small, family owned winery with estate vineyards – Heather Hill and Mill Creek – near Walla Walla. Both of these are LIVE certified sustainable and Salmon Safe. The winery also has contracts with select Columbia Valley growers. Production is principally Cabernet Sauvignon, with a little Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, and Viognier.The Estate was founded in 1999 by John and Molly Abbott, and Ken and Ginger Harrison.
